Your journey begins upon arrival in Guwahati, the gateway to Northeast India. After a warm welcome, drive to Shillong (approx. 3–4 hours), enjoying a photo stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake on the way. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati (approx. 3–4 hours). If time permits, visit the famous Kamakhya Temple before heading to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Your Meghalaya tour concludes with unforgettable memories of the Abode of Clouds.
The best time to visit is from October to April when the weather is pleasant, skies are clear, and waterfalls are at their best. Avoid peak monsoon (June–September) due to heavy rains.
